$10,000 earmarked for covid-19 support

Our Angel Fund dollars have been hard at work over the last few months providing support to various organizations, school district staff as well as to families in need. Here are just a few ways your dollars have made a difference for our students, parents and educators in our community. We thank you for your continued support of the Foundation, so that we may use our resources to help assist those that need it the most at this time.

  • The Angel Fund recently provided $400 in funds to help cover the costs of making cloth masks for the district's Essential Community Care - Tier 1 and Tier 2 Childcare staff members and others. Additional masks have also been made and donated by volunteers in the community, including WBLAEF board members.  

  • The Angel Fund provided a dispersment of $500 each to both Cafe Cravings and Ha Long Bay. Both restaurants opened their doors to help feed our free and reduced lunch district students lunch over a 2 week period.

  • The Angel Fund continues to provide financial support as well as clothing from The Closet to all district families who are experiencing hardships.
