2024 - middle school art classrooms

Granted to Victoria Leistico, this grant benefited 6th, 7th and 8th grade art classrooms at both Sunrise and Central Middle Schools. This grant allowed for the purchase of glazes and additional paints for the middle school art classrooms to help the students expand their experiences with ceramic arts and allowed the classrooms to offer additional ways for them to customize their clay projects. Students were able to add colorful decoration to their works to personalize their projects further to their own tastes, as well as experiment with different techniques of applying glazes.
